The Psychology of Action and Attention:

Exploring the Principles and Strategies of Morita Therapy

Location: Hickory, North Carolina

Thursday, October 23, 9:00am - 4:30pm

Presented by Gregg Krech

Blending the Practical, the Psychological and the Spiritual as a Foundation for Therapy.

One of life's greatest challenges is narrowing the gap between words and action.  Morita Therapy is a method of Japanese psychotherapy that emphasizes purposeful action and self-discipline.  Similar to the underlying philosophy of martial arts, it provides clients with a framework for accepting and coping with unpleasant feeling states, rather than struggling to change them.

“Life is a Matter of Attention. Your experience of life is not based on your life but on what you pay attention to.”

Gregg Krech is the Director of the ToDo Institute and author.
